Bill “Thurlow” (weekdays, 4pm-6pm)
Growing up, Thurlow was obsessed with the larger than life DJs of the 70s and early 80s. He even created his own make believe radio station. He started volunteering at a local AM station in 1984. By the late 80s, he was playing Top 40 hits and in the early 90s, he helped usher in the Hot Country craze to North Central Mississippi. He’s been married to his dream girl, Mel, for almost 25 years. They have two teenage kids, Georgia Grace and Mason. His motto is, “Radio is always at its best when it’s one-on-one”- talking TO listeners not at them. Live & local is what Thurlow On The Radio is all about…that and playing the greatest hits of the 70s, 80, 90s and more.
