The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 296 new cases of COVID-19.
Todays report the second straight under 300 after 957 confirmed cases on Saturday brings the states total up to 105,228. No additional deaths were included in todays report. To date, 3,101 Mississippians have passed away from the virus.
Hospital data has not yet been updated in todays report. Heading into the weekend, overall hospitalizations were hovering around 500.
Estimated recoveries have also yet to be updated.
