AMBER ALERT issued for two Copiah County children

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued an AMBER ALERT for two young children in Copiah County. 

3-year-old Dior Wade and 1-year-old Zarie Wade were reportedly abducted from their great-grandmother’s home on Wednesday afternoon. According to the MBI, the children were allegedly taken by their mother, Teanna Dixon, who does not have custody. Dixon’s boyfriend, Derek Young, is also allegedly involved. 

Dior is described as a black female standing at approximately 3’0 tall with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, leopard print pants and black boots. 

Zarie is described as a black male standing at 2’0 tall with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing camo pants, a turquoise shirt and brown shoes. 

Teanna L. Dixon is described as a 28-year-old black woman standing at 5’3, weighing 130 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Derek Young is a 29-year-old black man standing at 6’2. He weighs around 148 pounds with brown eyes. 

The vehicle being used is a 2016 Silver Lincoln MKZ bearing GA license plate RTI 3239. The vehicle was possibly last seen traveling northbound towards Hinds County.
