It appears that there will be a second debate between Mississippi’s gubernatorial candidates, Republican Tate Reeves and Democrat Jim Hood, ahead of November’s general election.
The first debate between the current Lt. Governor and Attorney General will be held in Hattiesburg this Thursday, and the second appears to set for Monday, October 14th. Reeves first accepted the debate invitation in September, and this morning, Hood’s campaign followed suit.
Since Tate Reeves declined to even respond to two debate invites, I’m not sure he expected me to accept WCBI’s debate next Monday. We’ll be there. What’s important is that Mississippians across the state have a chance to hear about the issues. #msgov

The time of the debate, hosted by WCBI, has not yet been announced.
Thursday’s debate will be hosted by WJTV and can be heard on select SuperTalk Mississippi stations & online at supertalk.fm.
