SEC Tournament: Bulldogs get double-bye, Rebels enter as 12-seed

The regular season in college basketball has come to an end, and the SEC Tournament will begin in Nashville on Wednesday.

After a win over Ole Miss on Saturday, Mississippi State (20-11) secured a double-bye in the tournament and won’t play until Friday as the #4 seed. According to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, the Bulldogs are currently among the ‘Next Four Out’ but an appearance in the SEC Championship Game could secure them a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
