According to the Mississippi State Health Department website, 602 Mississippians have been tested for COVID-19 and 80 are now positive as of today, March 20th, 2020.
This number increased by 30 since yesterday’s 50 confirmed cases. It now reaches across 32 Mississippi counties.
There is also one death reported in the state from the virus last night. A 60-65 year old male from Hancock County with chronic underlying conditions, he died in a Louisiana hospital.
